▶Key Responsibilities:
▶The Right Candidate Will Possess:
• Carrier Sales experience is required. Only candidates with direct Carrier Sales experience will be considered.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in transportation operations, carrier sales, freight brokerage, or full-cycle account management.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets and logistics-related platforms.
• Experience using transportation and industry tools such as:
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience developing and managing new shipper accounts.
• Strong understanding of U.S. over-the-road transportation, lane capacity, market trends, and equipment types.
• Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales KPIs, margin goals, and customer retention targets.

- Account Optimization & Revenue Growth: Drive organic revenue growth within assigned key accounts by providing efficient transportation solutions and competitive pricing. Expand market share across existing customer networks and freight lanes.
- Rate Negotiation: Research spot markets, lane trends, and equipment availability to develop competitive pricing solutions and negotiate carrier rates.
- Carrier Sourcing & Capacity Procurement: Source, qualify, and maintain strong relationships with motor carriers, including asset-based carriers, owner-operators, and fleet operators, to secure transportation capacity.
- Shipment Execution & Tracking: Manage shipments from tender through delivery, dispatch carriers, confirm appointments, utilize real-time tracking tools such as MacroPoint and MyCarrierPortal, and proactively resolve service issues.
- System Accuracy & Order Processing: Process customer orders, update load information, and maintain accurate records in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) such as Aljex.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, accounting, and management teams to ensure customer satisfaction, resolve escalated issues, and achieve operational objectives.
