Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive, results-driven IT Account Manager / Business Development Manager to join our team in the U.S. market. This role combines strategic management of an existing key client in the financial sector with active new client acquisition. The ideal candidate is commercially minded, technology‑savvy, and motivated to grow revenue by both deepening existing relationships and winning new business.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying growth opportunities, understanding business and technical needs, and delivering tailored IT consulting and technology solutions that align with client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management (Existing Client)
- Manage and expand relationships with assigned key accounts to ensure long-term partnership and client satisfaction.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Act as the main point of contact, coordinating with internal technical and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor account performance, financial results, and key business KPIs.
- Prepare contracts, manage renewals, and ensure timely invoicing and payments.
New Client Acquisition (Hunting)
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline aligned with revenue and growth targets.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and solution demonstrations to articulate the value of our IT consulting and technology services.
- Understand prospect needs and design customized solutions in collaboration with internal teams.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed revenue and profitability goals.
- Prepare contracts, manage renewals, and ensure timely invoicing and payments.
General Responsibilities
- Stay informed on market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales activities, forecasts, and client information in the CRM system.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking activities to increase brand awareness.
- Contribute to the achievement of annual sales and profit targets in the U.S. market.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in IT sales, account management, and/or business development (consulting, infrastructure, or application projects).
- Demonstrated ability to grow existing accounts and win new clients.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and consulting services; financial services industry experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience managing infrastructure or application projects is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively.
- Proficiency in contract management, billing processes, and CRM tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
