▶︎ Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and support DNS platform services using BlueCat Address Manager, DNS/DHCP Server, and BlueCat Edge DNS.
• Configure and maintain DNS zones, records, policies, profiles, and related infrastructure.
• Perform testing, debugging, performance analysis, and documentation for DNS and network components.
• Monitor and optimize DNS performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve DNS-related incidents and provide escalation support.
• Ensure DNS security and compliance with enterprise standards and best practices.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for DNS architecture, configuration, and operational processes.
• Support capacity management and long-term scaling of the network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with operational teams to resolve issues and propose improvement initiatives.
• Assist Network Operations teams with escalations and production support.
• Participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation.
• Ensure network planning aligns effectively with overall technical infrastructure requirements.
• Support new project rollouts by ensuring timely and cost-effective DNS/network infrastructure delivery.
▶︎ The right candidate will possess:
• Deep expertise with BlueCat DNS platforms, including Address Manager, DNS/DHCP, and Edge.
• Strong understanding of DNS protocols, standards, security, redundancy, and best practices.
• Experience working in high-stakes, mission-critical environments such as financial services.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in global enterprise environments.
▶︎ Required Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise networks in mission-critical environments.
• 7+ years of DNS engineering experience.
• 7+ years working with BlueCat DNS products and services.
• Experience with DNS/DHCP design, security, and operational support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time-management and organizational abilities.
• Basic Windows & Linux OS administration skills.
• Certifications in BlueCat DNS products are a plus.
• Experience with Infoblox is also considered an asset.
• Familiarity with:
– Cisco ISE
– BlueCAT DNS
– SSL/PKI
– Cisco Umbrella
